Cancellations
Medecs Learning is committed to providing the best service in a timely manner. We aim to accommodate your needs This cancellation policy is used as a way of respecting the time commitment of all involved. We are implementing a straightforward cancellation policy to be upfront about all the costs you may face when engaging our services.
Cancellation process
We understand situations can arise in which you must cancel your appointment. Due to limited availability, we request that you cancel with adequate notice. This allows us to fill that appointment slot or reallocate our Trainers.

We require a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours’ notice for cancellation. Please inform us by 48 hours prior to your scheduled training session to notify us of any changes or cancellations.
Cancellation of online only courses
Online only courses are charged upon enrolment. Refunds are not offered in the event of cancellation. Refunds may be agreed under acceptable circumstances at the discretion of Medecs Learning Management.
If enrolled into HLTAAP001 Recognise healthy body systems, (commencing with HLTHPS006 Assist clients with medication) cancellation of HLTAAP001 Recognise healthy body systems must occur prior to the allocated online theory support day. If enrolments are cancelled after course commencement, the full course fee is applied.
Late arrivals
Late arrivals can only be extended to the remaining time of the scheduled training session. If a training participant is 30 minutes late past the session commencement time, we will have to reschedule/cancel the appointment, which may incur a cancellation fee.
If no prior notice or the notice given is not provided within the minimum notice period, you will be charged a cancellation fee (see below) for the missed scheduled training session.
Cancellation fee
- The cancellation fee is the full training fee.
- The cancellation fee will be charged by invoice.
- The cancellation fee is the sole responsibility of the client and must be paid in full within 30 days after invoicing.
Acceptable circumstances for waiving cancellation fees
We understand that plans may change due to uncontrollable and external circumstances. Missed training sessions can be unintentional or may stem from an emergency, etc. Therefore, cancellation due to such circumstances will not incur a cancellation fee. Having cancellation fees waived requires approval from Medecs Learning, Managing Director.
Refund policy
If the notice of cancellation is given 48 hours before the scheduled training session, Medecs Learning will refund any payment that was received to book an appointment.
