Learner of the Month March 2023, Peter Lew

We’re pleased to announce that Peter Lew from AdaptCARE is the Medecs Learner of the Month for March 2023. Peter was nominated by one of our trainers following his diabetes training.

Peter completed a small group diabetes and insulin training session. He asked many appropriate questions in class to ensure that he understood the condition and tasks required.

During the assessment, it was obvious that Peter had completed pre-assessment research. He wanted to go over the process of administering insulin many times to make sure he was 100% sure of what he was required to do. He wrote down the steps in his own words to ensure understanding of the process. I was impressed with his determination to understand the process and therefore ensure correct administration of insulin to the client.

Managing Director Deb Stone was on hand in Launceston last week to present Peter with his certificate of recognition and a gift voucher. CEO and Founder of AdaptCare Ben Greaves and local trainer Mandy Curtis were also in attendance to offer their congratulations.

Well done, Peter! Your dedication to the safety of your participants is evident. We wish you well for your continued career in the disability sector.
