Frequently asked questions

Is the course right for you?

Each accredited course has different participation and assessment requirements. Before confirming your place, review the Accredited Training Course Guide and consider whether the course matches your role, experience, current capabilities and learning needs.

  • Consider the language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills needed to participate.

  • Check whether you can safely complete required practical or physical assessment tasks.

Tell us if you are uncertain about a requirement or may need support or reasonable adjustment.

Medecs will discuss available assistance, reasonable adjustment or another appropriate pathway with you. 

Our responsibility as your RTO

Medecs Learning is responsible for the quality and compliance of the nationally recognised training and assessment it delivers and for issuing Australian Qualifications Framework certification when learners meet the applicable requirements.

All Medecs training and assessment is delivered by trainers and assessors employed by Medecs Learning. Medecs does not use third-party organisations or contractors to deliver training or conduct assessment.

Digital literacy

Much of our learning is delivered online. It’s expected that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to operate a computer or device to access your learning. Please ensure you address any knowledge and skill gaps with your digital literacy before commencing courses with us. The BeConnected website provides a great range of free courses to help you gain confidence in your digital literacy skills.

Get a USI number

A Unique Student Identifier (USI) number is required if you’re to undertake nationally endorsed training with us. Qualifications or Statements of Attainment can only be issued to students with USI numbers. Get a USI number at the USI Student Portal at training.gov.au.

Check your computer or device works for online learning

Our courses are designed to be accessible on a wide range of computers and devices. Generally, most computers or devices should be able to work with our website and learning portal, MySupport. Login to MySupport as soon as you receive your login details to check.

For the best online learning experience, we recommend using Google Chrome as your web browser.

Some classes may be delivered virtually. Make sure you have a reliable headset, camera, and microphone before attending virtual sessions. Join a test meeting on Zoom to check everything works.

 

I haven't received my course details yet

Upon enrolment, the course confirmation &  information is emailed to the email address used for enrolment.

Check the junk or spam folders of your email account or search your email for any emails with Course Confirmation in the subject line. If your details can’t be found please contact us. (03) 6272 1843 or email admin@medecslearning.com

What do I need to bring to a practical assessment?

Please wear comfortable clothing and closed in shoes. 

What happens if I can't attend on the day?

Please contact us as soon as possible and we will organise to reschule your session.

How do I access my Student Portal?

Your student portal is accessed via MySupport.

Add mysupport.medecslearning.com to your bookmarks or click on the link at the very top right-hand corner of this page.

What if I need support to complete the course?

If you require support to complete the course. Please contact your Assessor/Trainer in the first instance. If you require further assistance please contact Client Support. (03) 6272 1843 or email admin@medecslearning.com

When will I receive my certificate?

Your certificate will be generated and sent within four weeks after successful completion of all course activities. 

How do I download my certificates?
Training Managers
  1. Log in to MySupport
  2. From your Dashboard, click on Previously Trained to bring up a list of students and their progress
  3. Students who have completed and been issued a certificate will have a certificate icon located under the Status column
  4. Click on the certificate icon to view or download their certificate.

It’s also possible to search for individual students. Click on My Students to start the search.

Students
  1. Log in to MySupport
  2. In the left Menu bar, click on Documents
  3. Click on Certificates
  4. Click on View
  5. Click on Download your certificate here.
